I find Chambers Bay by far the hardest for me. Next would probably be Pebble. I can shoot between 26-29 the front, followed by 33-100 on that %$#@^% back 9.

Personally I think Olympic and Merion are the hardest. Seems to be the consensus after reading all the threads.

I agree with you on Chambers, can never get close on those 500 yard par 4(s) and all of the par 3(s) are no picnic to birdie either.  I once tore up the back 9 on Pebble, but usually its not far from par for me either.

Pebbe B9 is really hit or miss imo.

Recently I shot -8 on the front, quit at -6 thru 16.

Occasionally i will shoot 4 or 5 under on the b9 though

For the front 9 of Pebble Beach, my personal best is a 28; for the back 9, my personal best is only a 31. And I always have trouble with the 17th hole. I rarely birdie that hole.

Pretty much tied for the 4 hardest courses would be

     - Olympic (I hit 1-2 trees every single round here), Oakmont, Merion, and Chambers

Next tier give me issues because the yardage (even when I have it mapped) constantly changes.  And not just random VEM, I'm talking consistent wacko - doo yardages.

    - RSG, St. Andrews (yes, Andy - I always shoot around 60 average here), and Pebble beach (although F9 is rather easy).  I suppose I can throw in Cabo and Whistler here too.

My 3 favorite and easiest course for me (by far, always shoot 55-58 here) would be

    - Congressional, Pinehurst, and BPB.

Chambers is weird.... It gets destroyed on RG's, much lower scores than say Pinehurst or Olympic (Legend tier) but I find it harder than either of those.

I feel like I'm missing something that'll make it easy
