    Hi Anolo,

Your tier depends on your average stroke play score.  Your average score is currently 150.0 because you haven't posted any ranked stroke play rounds, you've just been playing in our CTTH competitions.  Play ranked stroke play rounds (and tournaments) and your average will slowly drop as you post more & more scores.  You'll earn promotions through the tiers automatically as your average comes down.

FYI, your average score is calculated from your 10 best of your last 14 scores with a heavier weighting applied to your most recent rounds.

    WGTniv:

You may be the first WGT person (?) to make a statement on average calculation, and the first to state this. Excuse me, it seems incorrect.

    My information and experience says,

    - average is taken from a certain number of the best ranked rounds scored,

    - this number rises from tier to tier and it's equal the minimum number of ranked rounds neccessary in that tier,

    - there is no "different weighting", just plain mathematical average,

    - average calculation starts from scratch at each new tier.

Are you playing mobile or PC version?  I see you have only played 72 holes so far and some are not "ranked" rounds.

I play the PC version, and it takes a certain average score taken over a certain number of "ranked" rounds to move up a tier.  Ranked rounds do not include practice, custom courses, Par 3 courses and "Best of" courses.  Also, you can click the link to the right that says "Changing Tiers".

It will not be long before you move to the next tier (Amateur).

    Just have fun!
