What is your favourite type of shot and with which club?

  And just in case your answer is different than in the subject question, what is your most consistent shot?

  I am talking about 25 yard flops, 88 yard punches, 5 yard chips, etc. Just thought this might produce some interesting answers.

  I think my favourite shot changed recently, used to be a 41 yard punch with the TM50 yard club or full 50 shot, that club is damn accurate so probably my most consistent shots there.

  Now I think my favourite shot is just a simple 8 to 13 yard chip.  I am getting better at these and like adjusting for the green slope etc and seeing just how close I can get to the hole.

  Easy, when you set the yardage with the 64 deg wedge (50 yrds) with a GID2 ball full backspin it is a laser guided missile.

  Yes that is THE club I referred to as well but remember, I also asked which shot you just enjoy executing the most too which may be different like in my case. 

  Though its hard not to like your most accurate shots the most.... :)

  I also enjoy the challenge of a really good long putt like a 100 footer and IRL as well.  Sometimes on here they can be tricky to read in the middle due to camera angles, one extra view would help a lot.

  i'm going to  say my most consistent is the the 5-8 yds. chips with the 64 degrees wedge shot and a full 64 degree wedge  at 55-61 yds away shot at a close second

  Fairway, second shot with a 140 yard 8 iron, and sticking the ball within inches of the hole with the right amount of backspin, sometimes. I agree though Jay, I do pretty good with the Taylormade 64 degree wedge from 30 yards out, whether it be ruff, sand, or fairway. What a fun club. I use the Tour-SD balls with the Raptures, the meter is slow enough as it is.  : )

  Regardless of wind condition or club, I birdie Kiawah #1, #10 and BPB #1 about 90% of the time...but my favorite shot is any 1 foot putt at Oakmont...also at about 95% success

  Besides Myself (LOL) I'm really in love with my Ping 64..My most successful shot is the 49 punch, good for anything from 46 to 52 yards (depending on spin and flat greens).

  Then its the 60 full shot.

  Lastly, I  enjoy my 9 iron.

  Ball of choice GI-3-D

  For Bethpage I use the GI-SD

  Flopping the 60 and 64 degree wedges. Anything under 30 yards. Almost automatic up and down.

  I'd like to add another question for anyone that wants to answer. 

  Same as before, what shot is your favourite and enjoy the most and if different what shot are you best at BUT also on the real courses as well as WGT. 

  My answer is somewhat similar to this game, not surprisingly maybe.... 

   

  WGT - fav shot currently is an 8 - 13 yard chip. 

            - best shot is a 41 yard punch or 50 yard full with TM64 wedge. 

   

  RL  - fav shot is a pitch/chip with an 8 iron from about 30 feet out, love these .........shots and often use an 8 to carry farther in the air and have less roll out. 

          - Best shot is a pitching wedge from around 90 - 110 yards out.
