    GITrDONE:
Oh yeah try to pitch or flop because for me I get nowhere fast with the chip.

I think everyone has experienced that poor chip shot from the ruff. I always use a punch shot and seems to be pretty effective. I split the distance in half with the 64 degree wedge. Say you have 20 yards of distance to the pin, with 41 yards of max club distance, I hit about 55% strength with full backspin, and 90% of the time it rolls within three feet of the pin. It's nice using the punch shot because you get the ball in the air. It took me while to perfect, but it works.

I hope this helps, it does for me.

    Play well.

    Hi All,

Recording the details of your shots is very important here.

How ??  - sorry its the old fashioned way - pen and paper.

I dedicate a page to each hole, and document every shot. Its a bit of work, but I find it invaluable, especially for those long second shots in to the green, and the short game around the greens.

The more data you collect the more accurate your shots are going to become.

    Happy hitting

    Doug
