I'll take Branden Grace @ -14, with the same player for the 54 hole lead.

Eric, I'll sponsor a sleeve of choice for the winner overall, and also a sleeve if anyones winner pick makes a Hole in One during the 4 days of the championship.

Looks like the pick competition is becoming quite popular Eric ... sponsorship is rising also ...

Maybe we could find someone to sponsor an albatross win on either par 5 ...

    Anyone interested ?

    Stobsbee:

You watch the preparations here: http://www.standrews.com/links-webcam

Lots of different views availbable thru the drop down under the screen and if that is not exciting enough you can just sit and watch the grass grow.

Nice one Stobsbee ... spent about an hour looking at the webcams and other videos. The course is obviously closed for play right now, but visitors are walking all round and taking pictures. Amazing to see how busy the town is, what with all the vehicle and foot traffic. The funniest thing was seeing a farm tractor pulling a trailer, on the road that runs right beside the 18th, and 17th greens ...

Probably some old utility piece of equipment belonging to the maintenance dept. ...

If I had plenty of credits I'd do it, but I am sort of poor......lol.

I think the idea of giving prizes to winner picks, leaders & HIOs is great, a little something to keeps us busy and gather together with a fun thing : )))

Do you really think we will see albatross at St. Andrews?, don't remember if there have been some in the last Open championships at St. Andrews.

I don't know if I've ever heard of one in the Open, but you never know ... and it costs nothing for people to enter a pick ... a long shot for sure.

    Nice search 1 eye ; ))

The Open has been hosted in several different venues including St. Andrews. What I mean is, I do not recall seeing an albatross at precisely.... St. Andrews in any "The Open" hosted there.

    Eric

edit...silly me, you posted Manny Zerman - St Andrews 2000, 5th hole 2nd round.

    apologies : )))
