Apparently there is an update available, but the process of getting such an update is broken. When launching the desktop app on the Mac, it says there is an update available, and to "Update Now" which is a button.

The main part of the screen simply says "Loading ...". By looking at the CPU and network activity it is pretty clear the app is sitting there doing nothing or at least very little.

Clicking the button quits the app and then a restart takes you back to the same screen described above with no update installed.

THIS MEANS THE APP IS UNUSABLE IN ITS CURRENT STATE as there is no way to access the rest of the GUI.

I'm running Mojave (10.14.6) on a MacBook Pro if it helps.

    Thanks,
    Jon

    Jon,

This has happened to me for each new update (also on Mac)

You need to completely delete the old app and then install the updated version.
I hope that solves it for you

I'll give it a try. Not a great long term solution.

[UPDATE] - Easier to download a new .DMG from the home page and overwrite the old app. It then processes the update properly.

    Thanks,
    Jon
