I just played the 2nd round of this week's champion tournament, I had the weirdest -4 66.
Through the first 12 holes I was +1 with 1 birdie and 2 bogeys. I had not been able to make a putt the entire round. The first birdie was on # 7 and it was a pitch in . Then on 11 and 12 I made back to back bogeys. It looked like I was going to post a rather dismal over par score.
Then on 13 I hit a rather poor tee shot going well past the pin and then I sat there and watched as the ball started rolling back down the slope toward the hole,dropping in for a hole-in-one. Then on # 14 after a good drive to the fairway I holed out my Wedge for a second straight eagle. So I was then -3 without making a single birdie putt.
I finally made a birdie putt on # 17 followed by a another birdie putt that I missed making par and ending up -4 66. Without those 2 holes I would have had a rather poor score.
