  I don't know where AKD hid this ongoing discussion.

  But we had 6 Oak, 2 Oly, 2 WC and and  1 CB.  Why is WGT unable to  balance courses in club clashes?

  Good point.

  We (Bro CC) did ok this time but it doesn't seem to be a well balanced process at all.

  Agree, we had the same. Given there are now 13 full courses on mobile plus best ofs, they could pick 11 different 9s and each club could play each 9 once per clash. There would be enough variety because that's about 30 different 9s and you could mix them up each clash. 

   

  Or extend the clash to 50 hours so each club gets 12 rounds in, and WGT should program it so each club gets 3 rounds at each course. 

   

  Clubs who played Wolf Creek more than twice in this clash got a big advantage compared to those who played Oakmont six times. It was even worse for us last clash, we got BoP5 once, I have no doubt other clubs got a big advantage over us by playing multiple rounds on the par 5s.

  I didn’t start the thread, Tom, but used what I saw already started rather than duplicate.

  If you’ve looked there, you’ll have seen that I share the “grrr” aspect.

  6 CB for us and only 1 WC.  

  Congratulations on your placement above 50th.  We just couldn’t get there this time (with CB).  But with no glitch, who needs the second course builder anyway?  (Ha ha, any more whining, and these sour grapes will be fermented nicely into a Syrah!)
