When you zoom in on a landing spot what is the target line-the view from you to the pin or the arc that shows up when you aim?

For instance, when you're adjusting for wind do you ignore the arc and assume you're looking directly at the flag to move the aim left or right or do you aim with the arc?

I always adjust for the wind with relation to the aiming arc regardless of the view that you are in!  Most times the front view will be fairly straight but sometimes it too is from off to the side, you need to take this angle into account.  It happens more often in the reverse view though, #10 Bethpage comes to mind, it always seems to be coming in from the left.

Tx, AL, always good to get the first answer out of the bible-lol. Basically, the arc is the target line as I understand it.

You mentioned a reverse view like it was available from the fairway. Is this so?

    Yes 'arc'=target line.

Normally on a drive or approach to the green, when you hit the space bar it shows a 'higher' angle of the fairway approximately where the shot should land.  Some people call this the 'reverse angle' but it's not really, just a different perspective usually more off to the side and from above.  On the green it is usually a true 'reverse angle'

    Hope this clarifies...
