Has anyone experimented with putting from off the green? You see the Pro's in real life do it all the time. If you could possibly answers  3 questions.

    1) How much weight do you add per yard of fairway. IE. If you are 2 yards from the green and then 5 from the green to flag ( 7 yards total) How hard would you hit the putt to compensate for the 2 yards of fairway? How much for 3?

    2) Same question  from 1st cut.

    3) Same question from 2nd cut.

Best thing would be to just get on the course and try it.

From the fairway the putter will go about 80% less but once it hits the green good luck judging it.  I have fooled around putting from off the fairway with no success.  From the fringe I add somewhere between three to five feet and have found this to work really good.
