Re: How do you stop the ball on this shot??

  I'm always up for a good challenge, but there's something I just can't figure out. While playing a CTTP game at Pineherst, I'm given a 202 yrd shot, little downwind, out of 20% rough where you cant get much spin, to a small green guarded by a front bunker. How in the H-E-Double Hockey sticks are you supposed to stop that ball on the green? Any hints would be great.

  It's a tough shot, I think I only got heartbeat on it once. You should ask bollox, he holed it out!

  Callaways work well on this hole....2nd shot was 200 full BS.......

  I believe it's starter 3 wood and starter ball.

  Nice shot!! I'm surprised your ball went in with the flagstick there. I can't count how many times during a chip shot my ball has rolled up to the flag stick, not any faster than during your shot there, and just bounced off. I wish they could fix that. I understand if your ball slams into the flagstick it should bounce off, but not when it just bumps it.
