three times in 24 hrs i've been in an alt. shot match where a player bails after a really bad shot by his partner  when they were down quite a bit.   The three remaining players get to sit in the lobby and "figure" it out.

here's what you can/should do:  go to the little chat box and tell us!  something like, "Hey Buster, you just missed your third 6ft putt and we are 4dn after 4, you suck!  I'm out!"  or just "u suck, i'm out!"  or an acronym even: "io"  for "I'm out"

quiting is fine w/ me, and maybe I deserve it, at the very least, let the other players know.

btw, I have come back  to win after playing into a 3 dn hole, feels pretty cool.

    thanks

If three of you are in the lobby just ask the player to forfeit the match. Every time I've been there they have always agreed to forfeit except once. Then you are forced to read the forum's for five minutes if they don't :)
