  Just thought I'd reintroduce myself here....

  Spent a whole afternoon here for the first time in a while - since St Andrews had only the front nine.

  Grrrreat to see it completed, and Oakmont full 18 up as well - as well as other courses in other game modes.  It's looking great.

  Thanks to a putting thread, managed to avoid three putting in a game for the first time ever....

  Can't say my chipping is much better - still get the odd one yard splat syndrome around the green.....

  Anyway, hope to be around a lot more than recently.

  Welcome back Loveclose.

  Try using the punch shot when you're in the rough around the green, and the chip shot when you're close to the putting surface, and the lie is 0% or you're hitting from the fringe. This should help you save some strokes.
