We are in the last round of our current Swiss 9 Tournament. Looking for more players for the rounds beginning November 7.
Each event runs 2 months (8 or 9 rounds depending on the number of Mondays). We have 2 divisions to keep it balanced, This is all about having some friendly competition and meeting new players around the world.
A "SWISS" Format tournament is a non-eliminating tournament format that features a fixed number of rounds of competition, but considerably fewer than for a round-robin tournament; thus each competitor (team or individual) does not play all the other competitors. Competitors meet one-on-one in each round and are paired using a set of rules designed to ensure that each competitor plays opponents with a similar running score, but does not play the same opponent more than once. The winner is the competitor with the highest aggregate points earned in all rounds. With an even number of participants, all competitors play in each round.
9 hole match play scored, no apparel unless both players agree. 90 second clock.
We run the the event in Discord on the "DIscord Open Golf Server.". New players can be added at the beginning of each week.
