    Fromet:

Thanks SgtDoodles.  As I get more experience points and to higher levels the "name" putters will start being unlocked.  Will these help?

putting is ALL about practice...i still use the starter and ive seen alot of guys higher then me stil use it.. once i got used to it.. i still love using it.

my suggestion is to have a calculator on hand and use this thread

    practice!

to all you wgt 'Al Geibergers" in here, I respect your opinion in regard to the recomendation of the starter putter.

But personally? I was never so Go d damn glad to get rid of that piece of crap starter putter than the day I finally earned my spider & I won't trade that thing for anything/

I was tired of missing putts I could have kicked in with my shoe & got a decent putter. Just like 97% of the player that start out at wgt,,can't wait to get a putter,,no other club upgrade,,just for C's sake anything but that starter putter.

    My 10 cents. Thanks

The starter putter and the beginner putter are two different clubs. New players don't get the beginner one.

OK.  I've upgraded both my putter and driver.  Now I'd like to update my wedge.  Any recommendations?

3 ATV or CG16 wedges (56-60-64), and get rid of the hybrid. However, I'd also go for the R11 3W and use that instead of the driver, it is more accurate and goes slightly longer. All this for under 2000 credits.

I agree with mukbrian, I upgraded to the three wedges and got rid of my hybrid, made a big difference after the learning curve.

Is there a wedge available that will hit 90-110 full swing?

I have a wedge that hits 80 and my 9 iron hits 115, but i cant find anything that would be the perfect "in between" club?

Yes. It comes at a price. The L-93(?) Max iron set has the PW at 110 yrds. Using it with the High L Max wedges of 100 - 75 - 50 makes a wonderful and easy coverage along with all 4 punch distances. The entire Max iron set offers a very comfortable distance spread through-out, along with 4.0 accuracy and a slow meter. I played them for a year and was very pleased.  ~ SP ~

OK.  Drum roll please.  Now I have reached Tour Pro status (level 78).  Its a tribute more to how long I'v e been playing on WGT as opposed to my skills.

My putting is still not very good.  I have 1447 credits.  What equipment and ball changes would you recommend.  I already have a Taylor Made Driver.  Is there any equipment that will slow down the meter to allow a more precise hit or putt?
