    fobby1980:

coins rewarded is based as: 100 x (level expressed as a number). So if I just advanced from 95 to 96 I will be rewarded with 9600 coins.

Has anyone from WGT ever confirmed this?  Because this post seems to suggest otherwise:

    Nice explanation.

I am L-127 and have 1,017,000 coins and have never played a coin game. I do the spin everyday, but thats it.

    TopShelf2010:

Keeping along the lines of the formula being discussed.

After I find my notes/PM's I will come back to confirm

Don - keep in mind the formula works for all levels achieved after Dec 2015 when the coins were released.

There are some old threads that discuss WGT gave out some small lump sum deposits initially for long term players who had already been around and achieved X # of levels.

Once the coins were released at the end of 2015, which predates me, I believe the 100 coins per level bonus was used.

It has always been 100 coins per level for me since joining in March of 2017.  That part I can confirm for 111 levels.

If someone knew their approximate level in Dec 2015 they could do the formula for the levels up to that point and subtract it from their current level to get a better idea of current balance.

For ex: if you already achieved L85 in Dec 2015 and were currently at L159 you would apply the formula to L159 then apply it to L85 separately and once you get your totatls subtract the lower levels which were achieved prior to coins being released for a better estimate.  This applies to members who have been around since the early days of WGT.

And this may be why we get a skewed estimate on your coin balance by calculating them for your entire WGT career versus just when coins were introduced.

I believe coin balances are also skewed by the daily spins and/or scratch offs. Would be difficult to factor those random gains in, but they can add up over time.

Hi, Don.  Yes, I deleted my post.  After I posted, I went back and re-read what Ed (el3n1) had written in his post:

So, it looks like the formula is confirmed.

Having said that, I guess there is a possibility that WGT could be putting a ceiling on the level-up coin awards.  So checking your coin totals before and after your next level-up like you said might be a good idea.

Agree, hoping we can learn some things from EasyEd soon or see if WGT will given any indication on those above L200, but they haven't answered my email to Customer Support yet.

CS is usually pretty good about responding, but those are typically the easy one's to handle that will result in a favorable rating.  It seems odd, when there is less resolution that can be made, you are less likely to get a response other than... - we have forwarded it along to our team to review.
