  Tie# 6   EKeefer 185   vs   100plus 437

  In a very close match EK comes out with the win on the 21st hole. It was a wonderful game with an excellent opponent. As 'C+' said there were no losers in this game. A tip of the hat to a fine gentleman.

  Thank you Gary for a great match which you fought out right to the end.

  My putter was certainly "on" and if Gary's was as well the result could have been very different. Mind you, he did make up for it with deadly accurate flops where he didn't need the putter anyway! 

  Huge thanks also to Gary for the ease in setting up the match ....  the time difference for us Down Under can make it challenging to get a time suitable to both players but Gary was very accomodating and made it very easy.

  Good luck if you progress through Gary.

   Fun match for sure Joe!!! started back n forth then put the press on. made some good putts and Joe missed a couple that could have tightened the match up for sure. Fun match against a good friend.

  WC QF....Trans v Chickens

  Niblick lost to Forrrrr 4&3

  Superlative demonstration of how to conquer Oakmont from Greg.  Not a great deal I could do other than admire the skills on show.  Holed out twice for eagles from the fairway on Par 4's and hardly a missed putt!

  Good luck to both teams in the remaining QF match ups.

  QF, match 4:  jacktrade51 (#181) defeated BobbyNoob (#438) 2&1

  It was a very hard fought match.

  After winning the first 2 holes with birdies, I lost the next 2 when he went birdie-eagle.  (My birdie was in the bag on the par 5.)  We then halved out the front 9.

  He went ahead on 10 with a birdie, but I jumped back in the lead with birds on 11 and 12.  We split the next 4 holes (with birdies on 13, 15 and 16).  But I got lucky on 17 (the short par 4).  The pin was back right and the wind right to left, but I was able to drive to the middle of the green and then I dropped a 30 foot putt for an eagle to close the match.
