    i have missed all tv coverage due to working......was so looking forward to watching too.......

    And ....... we have a winner and well-deserved too ! Despite all the bad shots, he still managed to make a lot of pars to salvage a win. With a final score of -13, he bested Tiger's victory score by one shot ... congrats Gary Woodland. Well played son ....

    Well done to Woodland on a marvelous win. A special mention I think should go to Viktor Hovland, an amateur who finished on joint 12th.

    And how he used a wedge on 17, that might shut a few people up.

    Also the fist pump he received from Justin Rose after the shot, think that also shows Justins character too.

    A special mention I think should go to Viktor Hovland, an amateur who finished on joint 12th.

    Indeed, -4 for the tournament for the best amateur score in a US Open. He also had his coach on the bag and that had to help him a lot. Fun to watch how smooth he played.

    He was on the fringe for that shot. They even replayed it in slow motion to show how he just scuffed the grass.
