    This following might help you on putting ::

    A 15 foot putt will break one grid box ...
    A 25 footer will break two grid boxes ...
    A 35 will break three ...

    The distance I use is:
    Take the calculated distance (i.e., distance plus or minus elevation) then
    Slow = +20% or 120%
    Standard = +10% or 110%
    Fast = 0%
    Very Fast = -20% or 80%
    Champion = -30% or 70%
    Tournament = -25% or 75%

    Good rule of thumb, but I don't understand something.  It sounds like you are saying that every 15 ft putt breaks the same regardless of degree of break (speed of dots) and so on.  I know that can't be, so please explain further.  I need lots of help.

    You should ask this same question in your CC

    Well, I posted here because bhuninghake isn't in my CC and he/she is the one who proposed the tip.  And, it's not a question, but a request for more information.  It would seem that bhuninghake is not going to answer me, or perhaps hasn't signed on for awhile.

    BTW, is there a problem with my posting on the general forum that I'm unaware of?

    I must confess, yes, I wondered if you weren't giving me a hard time.  Glad you weren't and appreciate your reply.  I will troll my CC and see if someone there has a line of this concept. :)

    Cheers...Steve
