  I have been noticing offensive screen names and pictures being used on this site.  I would like to see WGT become more aggressive about removing or restricting these accounts so none of us are exposed to this behavior.  A manual review of all accounts is in order and new/changed accounts must be checked regularly.

  I try to do my part and report any such occurrences that I find.  It seems at least once a week I'm emailing them with something new.

  I agree with your want for a more aggressive approach.  I'd like to see WGT employ a manual avatar approval system.  You would upload your image and it would need to be approved by a WGT staff member before it could be actively displayed on your profile.  PokerStars uses the same system for displaying avatars and I'd imagine their player base far outnumbers that of WGT.  If the world's most popular poker site can manage this, I think WGT can too.

  I almost posted a reply similar to Nivlac's in the guys pretending to be girls thread.  The invites I've received have lead me to see some pretty bad pictures on profiles & I'd rather have them go to all automated picture avatars or yes screening each one if they could do it.  And I would appreciate it if Faterson wouldn't post links to these types of profiles anymore, call it what you want people using it as a dating service or worse. This is a golf site & people that are using it for something other than that should go elsewhere.

  What is considered a pretty bad picture as the profile pic? I use a picture of angelina jolie but I think it is pretty tame. Do people post bikini chicks or porn?

  Do they have any type of filter for when you do upload images so it blocks porn?

  Sorry if those seem like dumb questions but I am pretty ignorant when it comes to the inner workings of a website.

  LOL....J calls me the WGT police......I am always getting pictures removed from peoples profiles!!!!  This is golf, not porn!!!!!

  Lol rustynipples urs is not offensive, it got me wondering if Angelina plays golf here though hehe. A filter would be great & I don't think there is one from what i've seen!  And some of the things i've seen are from men collecting women on the site & I have no idea why my profile would attract them unless they love cats   =)

  Lysti, this is just a theory and a weird one at that, but I think they might try to get you as a friend because of the other word for cat, which just so happens to be the same thing as a female body part.
