Bubbs, very cool that they're still going (minus Stuart, of course) and that you saw them last year.

The '80s produced some great bands and music including these guys, Pretenders, U2, Tears for Fears and many others.  I consider that decade the 2nd UK invasion.  The first one in the '60s helped us put an end to the likes of Pat Boone and Frankie Avalon, the second did the same to disco.

They were outstanding mate, seen them twice last year to be honest. Once with the wife and the second time with all of the lads who went to see them for the first time in 1984.

That was some night (and day) ;-)

"seen them twice last year to be honest. Once with the wife .."

That must have been a shock to you ?

"second time with all of the lads..."

That ^^^ is just wrong on so many levels.

The reason I am doing this is the first response on the first page of the original Jazz.

Now, I ain't gonna say when I connected with Dennis....Actually no way to say when......But I have one of the best times ever had on this with him.

Didn't realize what it meant at the time.

             I do now.      Celebrate. Smile.

Ten years ago walking around Disney in California this tractor came towards us pulling a low level trailer with a set of drums . It stopped right beside us and 5 guys jumped on with guitars etc .

They played 4 or 5 songs when I said to this American standing next to me that they were quite good and did he know who they were .

The answer - earth , wind and fire .

They finished up by saying they had a flight to catch as they were playing that night in Chicago in front of 100,000 fans .

Wonder how much Disney paid them .
