The Oak is a Joke

  Just played 18 at Oak. 6-1 putts 11-2 putts 1-3 putt. Carded a 17 over par. Did this to remind myself not to do this again. Winds lie like hell, ball was all over the course no matter what I did to compensate. 2nd cut of rough worse than any thing I have ever encountered on any real course I have ever played. This course should be like certain equipment in the pro shop. Lock me out until I reach Master or Legend. My Tour Pro level 50 status looked like a Hack. I know it's all in my head and practice will cure it all. Just had to laugh at myself through written words.

      So basically Renn, anything you play suks from what I can gather. Suk it up and learn or quit, you post daily about something that is robbing you. If it was that easy we would all be shooting 50's. Strange how they vem your games and no one else.    jmo  :)

  That wasn't a *** session Clare, read the last two sentences. I was making fun of myself not condemning the course. I'm going to get that buggerr one of these days.

  Just play it a lot, you get used to it. My 9 hole record there is a 33, and full 18 is 66. If you don't believe me, look at Week 5 9 hole & 18 hole single play under the Tour Pros.

  why i love the oak:

  i went eagle, birdie, birdie on the front 9 in this week's 18 hole free tournament.  I was counting my credits until I finished the round +5!  I love the brutality.  Bring it!
