Phew, tough round

  Just finished 18 holes around Bethpage in ready-go. Heavy winds, tournament greens, and just about every hole bar 2 or 3 with either crosswinds or headwinds, including into the teeth of 20mph headwinds at 7 and 15. Meter decides it's gonna glitch the f*** outa me, funnily enough after being quite sedate through 18 holes at Kiawah.

  Managed to walk away with 6 birdies and 4 bogies for a -2 that feels a helluva lot better earned than -6 around 9 holes of StA. Mentally exhausted.

  THAT is golf!!! Phew!!

  I played it too - before playing I purchased some balls as I'd run out. Problem was, I forgot to equip the bag with them before teeing off so was stuck with the unlimited balls for the whole round. I think I did rather well to finish +3!!
