Yes, if you keep playing multi player games and finishing them, you completion percentage will get back up to green.

Since the number involved is 100 games, you must be prepared to play quite a few (30+?) so see some effect.
i was told completion % was based at 30 games
That was the initial number. They soon changed it to 100, years ago.
When playing "for the button", keep in mind the A/S is excluded from the count. Blitz with a friend, quick and dirty, seems the fastest lane to "good completion".
