Not sure how you think a 20% reduction in durability constitutes "the same price".

Exactly!  The L33's give you 360 hits per sleeve vs 300 hits for a L43 sleeve.  The extra 60 hits from the L33s will give you about 2 and a half more 9 hole rounds per sleeve.

But then one day the Level 37 Yellow Cally's and I hooked up. We have been in an exclusive monogamous relationship ever since.

Understood. I must confess that it turned my eye. It is likewise showy and the quicker pace made me think. But I'm true blue and shall remain devoted to what I compare to that drink made with Slo Gin, Southern Comfort, Orange Juice, Galliano & no ice....or in bartender lingo "a slow comfortable screw up against the wall"

If one wants to compete, you really need the Nikes and not the Callies

Not everyone can afford the Nike's.. I wish I could.  The callie's are like a poor man's Nike, especially the 33's.. very good ball.

If we ever do tie the knot, hpurey would you do me the honor of being my Best Man?

    LOL

    Sure thing bud!  :)

Would have thought that I'd be the one to give her away though.  ;-)

    To both Michael and Andy,

I understand that the sleeve of 33's would last longer and therefore be cheaper in the long run so thanks for pointing that out.

My OP meant that both sleeves are 250 credits and whether or not it would be worth gaining the .05 distance and losing the .05 in durability.

    Cheers.

Well, let's make it apples and apples then.  Would you pay 63 more credits for a sleeve of balls to have 0.5 more distance, ceteris paribus?

If distance is that much of a premium for you, you could go 2 levels higher and take a ball that's 300 a sleeve, trading a full point of spin for a full point of distance.  It's still cheaper on a per-swing basis than the legend balls.
