Yerp, the r9 smacks it pretty good..i often hit them around 300 on kiawah back 9 with a tailwind of about 9 mph..without it it goes around 275 to 280 average...hit one on bethpage black over the traps on no 6., caught the rough, bounced out and down the hilll for 343..got gold on that one. You have got to upgrade your equipment, your balls and your irons if you want to play better and reach the green..there's no other way..just like in real golf as one of the other master's said...upgrade or stay with the mcdonald brands and do nothing to get better..this is a great game and you have to pay the price to play it well..I am working now on my ping master irons and having problems adjusting to the ball roll, wind, etc..overall, the ping clubs are more accurate than the others...it takes practice, practice, practice...rite now I am getting all pars...but after that comes the chirpies and lower scores..
cheers, danny
