YankeeJim:Nice catch, Kat. 256 is an important number to a computer and I've always kept my friends list under it but never thought to associate it with the OP's problem.
Yeah ... sad they didn't reserve 1 more character to store the number of friends ... 8 more bits would take that 255 to 65,535 ... more than one would ever need!
When I went through and got my list below 255, I was deleting some members and others would get deleted.
So keep that in mind everyone ... nasty things happen if you have too many friends! (Lesson learned here).
