does anyone else think that when a player decides to leave in the midle of a match (stroke play or match play) that he/she should be penalized level points??? i had a day off today and managed to actually finish (1) nine hole match, out of my attempted (4) 18 hole matches, and (3) additional 9 hole matches. it seems there are quite a few poor sports out there...now im not talking about the ones whose games freeze up, or computers stall out...i mean the ones who (just like the last guy i played) got into a trap on st. Andrews, and after 4 attmepts to get out, decided he had enough a left, on the 4th hole of our match. this was the case in every match i played today. its a little rediculous...you should have to finish a match when its started, or lose points...can you walk off the course when you blow up a hole?? of course you can...but would you actually do it??
