just became a pro - how did that happen

  Can i go back to a hack if my scores deteriorate or am i a pro for life .

  And how many times must i hit a flagstick to gain an award .

  You cannot go back.  But be patient, there is change on the horizon for the tier system anyways.

  For you, 9 more times and you get the silver award.  You can see the award levels by going to your profile and clicking on "Awards".  Scroll down a few and you'll see the "Total Hit the Flagstick Award", currently you have 11.  If you click the white arrow in the blue box just underneath you can see the requirements for each level of the award.
