The Northwoods Country Club is looking for new members. We are a casual WGT club that is in the continual pursuit of enjoyment and stress-relief. Our focus is on enjoyment of the game, and not competing with other clubs in terms of prizes won or credits earned. We exist to provide new players a place to socialize as they learn the game, as well as for casual golfers who just want to play a few games per week.
Some of the activities we feature are regular club tournaments and a weekly club league. Right now, the league is on hold pending new players, but will be a weekly handicap league with a round-robin schedule. At the end of the regular season, the top six golfers enter a playoff series. Prizes will be given as WGT allows; we are still working on those details.
Our tournament schedule is one monthly purse tournament with weekly free tournaments as well. We offer something for every golfer here on WGT so stop by and say hi. You don't really have anything to lose, so why not give us a try?
