  Shot a 36, which could be slightly higher, because I have yet to be used to the extremely fast greens.

  Score: Bogeys on 2 and 7, Birdies on 5 and 9.

  One interesting thing I found is that on Hole 7 it's nearly impossible to hit the fairway if your drive is under 230 yards because the only strip of fairway atthat distance is very narrow and on the far left side.

  33 here. went birdie, birdie, birdie, then drove into some ancient bush that might have looked familiar to moses on #4. Made bogey from there. 

  Knocked it to within 10  ft from the fescue on #9 - missed the putt though

   

  *note to self. lay up on #6 in a tailwind!!!!!  (unless it's 22mph or so... lol)

   

   

  Wgt did an excellent job with this.

   

  Man I can't wait for the road hole!

  First round at St Andrews was not as bad as expected , fairways wide and easy to hit so a solid 6 under 30.
