  I recently started playing more coin games and fewer bracket tournaments and decided to give this apparel bonus thing a try.  I outfitted with a hat that says it will add 46 yards to my drives, and even paid 10,000 coins for the upgrade.  However, when using my driver, it goes from the projected distance of 282 to 294, an increase of only 12 yards.  What is the deal?

  If your hat says "DRIVER DISTANCE +46", that doesn't mean +46 yards.  It means +46 added to some driver distance variable that WGT has programmed.  My best guess is that it ends up being approximately 4.6% added to your driver distance.

  Thanks for the response.  I did a little more research and apparently the full bonus/capabilities only applies if you use the same apparel (shoes, hat, pants, etc.) sponsors and rarity of apparel.  In other words, it is a bit of a scam by the apparel sponsors and WGT.
