  I upgraded Maxthon to their new version 5 and the meter started behaving like it now does in Opera. Meaning that there is a delay when clicking to stop the meter. I went back to the previous version which shows as version 4.9.5.1000 and of course that works fine. I had read in other threads that this meter issue has something to do with certain browsers using some other kind of flash player (the name escapes me at the moment).
