I may have lost a couple of starter balls out of bounds but since I started buying upgraded balls, I seem to loose more of them out of bounds than just wearing out.  Thanks again WGT.  I know, it's part of your business plan.

Ever stop to think that the better balls tend to go farther, bringing out of bounds more into play? Or are you just into conspiracy theories?

You really have to try hard to lose balls at SA. Can't imagine losing a lot there. Unless you're all over the place, that might be it.  :-I

That's ridiculous. If that were anywhere close to being true. people would stop purchasing the more expensive balls.

Maybe you need to learn how to hit them.

The OP is currently using the Tour SD balls....65 cents per sleeve. Are these the balls he refers to as an upgrade?

I guess they are slightly better than the range ball...but if he thinks WGT is making them go out of bounds to force more purchases? Nikes can run $8 per sleeve. Don't hear much about those going OB; and these would be the targeted balls if his theory were true.

    +1

In over 1 year of playing on here, there was only 1 time I hit a ball that went out of bounds that I thought, "What the heck just happened there!?!?"

I sent an email to WGT and they gave me a sleeve of the same ball.

Every other time, my reaction was similar to this:

I think the OP has his tinfoil hat on just a bit too tight again.  While even paranoids have enemies, his conspiracy theories pole vault beyond what any rational person would expect.

ct summed it up, if they are going to program balls to go O.O.B, you would expect it to happen on something that will generate more $ in sales.  Not 65 cents per sleeves.

Wgt would expect this rational argument and therefore program the cheaper balls to go  O.B.  Very clever.
