yesterday I found somewhere on this site that I wasallowed to change the settings from something like high to lower, said it would help in some way. However I believe this has resulted in the loss of the flag. Can anyone point me in the direction of where to go tto change this setting back so I can see the flag ?

are you talking about flash quality settings? If so, they are within the game, Click on options and change it there.

There are several Flash Quality settings you can try. I believe the suggestion was an attempt to help players that have problems like meter lag and hesitation. While its true the look of the game can change with a lower Flash Quality, even making the flag appear as though it has disappeared (from some angles) give it a try...then decide what's best for you. Better to be able to hit the ball that have perfect graphics.
