    Anyone have any?

My weight is pretty much down pat, but I'm still sliding by the hole on more than a few putts (at least the ones I actually hit where I want to).

Upgrading your putter helps immensely.  1/2 of your misses may be due to the lack of precision in the starter putter.

Aside from that it trial/error and feel,  everyone starts out as a terrible putter.

Anser, redwood, and daytona are all nice, with quite manageable meter speeds, daytona being the slowest but it is lvl 50 something.

The slowest one that is any good is the Daytona.

As far as putting goes, faster greens and downhill putts break more, and vice versa.

Outside of saying that, there isn't much advice that can help someone that's new.

the good putters are way overpriced.

more than the best drivers. thats kind of unrealistic.

You will save more shots by having a good putter, than having a good driver.

Not really. Take the Ghost for example, in real life it costs almost $300 . The Spider which is not one of the better putters, in real life is almost $200.

If anything is overpriced it is balls.  1 sleeve of balls may last you a day-week.  The putter will last you for as long as the site exists.  It is well worth buying if you plan to continue playing for any length of time as your enjoyment of the game will greatly increase.
