Lately, my average seems to have started dropping faster. A 30 used to knock off .01, now it's usually .02.

Wondering if others have noticed something similar. Could the formula now be for something other than 400 rounds? Maybe I've just hit some numeric plateau that is making for weirdness.

Its 500 Ranked stroke play rounds as a legend. Once you hit that 500th round you start having your higher scores drop off. When it happened to me I had my average dropping quite fast I think within a  week or so I went from 65.?? to in the 63 's it really started to plummet, then plateaued out again.

I wnna say average rounds would drop it .02 and 30 or sub 30 would drop it .04-.06

Must be based just on the amount of scores they use in the average.

I had a 29 this morning and it dropped mine a whopping .01 lol.

However, I have finally broke the 62 avg mark.  Just gonna take lots more sub 30 to make TL i guess.  The road there just got a bit longer for me. lol

That's what I'd been having most of the time. I guess the only explanation is that a particular 30 just happens to replace a bodaciously bad score. A 28 earlier today dropped me by .03.

That would mean saturation for you - you just broke 500 Legend scores!

A few rounds later, those very(!) bad scores will all have been replaced, then it will be .01 by .01 again :)

What difference does your average make when you become Legend anyway unless you are trying to become a TL.

No Difference,  but aren't we all trying to be the best we can. TL is a huge Honour... Just sayng

This sounds about right.....   If you post a few bad rounds and your average stops going up.... you know your at saturation.
Enjoy the ride now J .... Still far from TL... as it gets harder now to shoot the 29's/ 30's to get promoted....  just post all your dud rounds now too... not, only the good ones
    Good Luck
