Anybody got any alternative names for holes?

I only ask because I have renamed the 7th at St. Andrews 'The Salesman' as that is the one hole where you wish you had a better driver.

My driver is just fine on the 7th. You certainly do not want the original for that hole, I know what you mean.

No. 9 could be the aviary, as one is almost guaranteed to get at least birdie a great part of the time.

#7 Bethpage: Woodlands.  Because you're going to hit a 3 wood on your 2nd shot pretty much no matter what... You may get the odd chance to hit a hybrid or 3 iron if you have the very best clubs for your tier but otherwise... nope.

How about "Marilyn Monroe" for #15 at Bethpage Black? The green there is nothing but dangerous curves.

I call kiawa #8 "The Bedpan" due to it's appearance on the minimap & the fact that an errant tee shot can lead to a heck of a mess!

We call #13 at St. Andrews "The Crotch" because of the patch of ruff in front of the pin.

Alternate name could be the Brazilian or the soul patch for #13.

Hole #1, in the 7th grade, was named Susi. I won't list the others.  :)
