Whenever I hit a iron into the grenn i judge the wind, when I hit short irons and wedges it seems like it doest really affect them.

    Thanks

It doesn't affect them as much as the longer irons because they aren't travelling as far. It still affects the shot, though. Wind in your face or at your back will definitely affect the yardage as the higher flight gives the wind time to help but the sideways influence is less because of the shorter distance to the hole. Basically, the shorter the iron the less time the wind has to affect it.
