1. Sponsor/Promoter.
This Contest is sponsored by World Golf Tour, Inc., 100 California St., 6thFloor, San Francisco, CA 94111 (“WGT”) and Red Bull North America, Inc., 1740 Stewart Street, Santa Monica, CA 90404 (“Red Bull”) (each a “Sponsor”).
2. Eligibility.
The Virtual Red Bull Challenge event is a skill-based contest in which the entrants compete for the best scores in an online, one-round, 18-hole, stroke-play golfing contest (“Contest”).
Participation in the Contest is open only to individuals who are: (1) both legal residents of and physically located in a select group of countries, which include only the United States of America and the District of Columbia; and (2) at least 21 years of age or older, or otherwise the age of majority in the entrant's state/province/territory of residence, whichever is greater. Any entry in the Contest, as defined in further detail below, from an individual who does not satisfy both of the aforesaid residency and age requirements will not be accepted. Furthermore, employees, officers, and directors of WGT and its affiliated entities, parent, subsidiaries, advertising, promotional agencies, legal advisors, as well as their immediate family members and persons living in their same household, are not eligible to enter or otherwise participate in the Contest.
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THE CONTEST AND THE CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBHITED BY LAW.
3. How to Enter.
To enter the Contest, you may: (1) log on to the website at http://www.wgt.com; (2) register to enter the Virtual Red Bull Challenge; and (3) play and complete the designated online stroke-play game where you must play all 18 holes on the golf course; or (1) Download the WGT Golf app in the App Store, Google Play store, or Amazon store; (2) Create an account or log on to your existing WGT Golf account; (3) play and complete the designated online stroke-play game where you must play all 18 holes on the golf course (“Game”). No credits will be deducted from your WGT account to enter the Contest. The WGT App is free to download. Standard data rates apply.
The Contest will start on September 3, 2018, at 12:01 am Pacific Standard Time and will be open for entries from all eligible individuals until November 4, 2018 at 11:59 pm Pacific Standard Time (“Contest Period”). During the Contest Period, each eligible individual may play the Game as many times as he or she wishes, but only the first final score resulting from the Game completed during the Contest Period will be recorded as the individual’s automatic entry in the Contest (“Entry”). All completed Entries must be transmitted and received prior to the expiration of the Contest Period. No other methods of entry into the Contest will be accepted. Limit one prize per person, per email address, and per WGT user account. Entries become the property of the Sponsors and will not be returned.
Use of multiple email addresses or multiple WGT user accounts to enter the Contest is prohibited. To enter the Contest, the registered user of each designated WGT user account must personally play the Game; otherwise the Entry will be disqualified from the Contest. You may not allow any third party to play the Game using your WGT user account. Use of a false email address, a false WGT user account, or an incorrect mailing address will disqualify an Entry. BY ENTERING THIS CONTEST, YOU AGREE THAT ALL SUSPECTED FRAUDULENT OR IMPROPER ENTRIES WILL BE DISQUALIFIED BY SPONSORS AT THEIR SOLE DISCRETION. Sponsors are not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, lost, late, interrupted, misdirected, illegible, mutilated, postage-due, garbled or delayed entries or other communications or other technical problems related to Entries. Sponsors are not responsible for any other errors of any kind relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, whether human, mechanical, clerical, electronic, or technical in nature; or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to caputure any information in connection with the Sweepstakes; or damage to a user’s system occasioned by participation in this Sweepstakes or downloading any information necessary to participate in this Sweepstakes. Sponsors and their agents and subcontractors accept no responsibility for Entries lost or delayed in submission. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt. Sponsors, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any person it determines or suspects has tampered with the Entry process or the operation of the website or the Game, or who otherwise violates these Official Rules. In the event of a dispute over who submitted an Entry, the authorized subscriber of the email account designated in the entrant's WGT user account will be deemed to be the entrant. Contest is void in Quebec, and where prohibited, restricted or taxed by law. All federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations apply.
4. Game Description and Winner Selection.
The Contest is an online, one-round, 18-hole, stroke-play golfing contest. The entrants will play 18 holes throughout the golf course and are challenged to get the ball in the hole in as few strokes as possible. When the entrant completes the 18-hole course, the combined score for all 18 holes will comprise the entrant's final score for each completed Game (“Final Score”). Entrants may play the Game as many times as they wish during the Contest Period, but only the entrant’s first Final Score received during the Contest Period will be recorded as the entrant’s Entry in the Contest. If a winner is eligible to participate in the Contest but is not eligible to win a prize, the prize will be awarded to the drawn entrant eligible to win prizes.
On or about November 7, 2018, Sponsors will conduct one (1) random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period and select one (1) potential prize winner.
The odds of winning the Contest depend on the number of eligible Entries and eligible participants in and their relative skill in the Contest.
5. Prize
SWEEPSTAKES PRIZE: There is one (1) Sweepstakes prize. One eligible winner will receive a Golf Tournament Trip prize package for a trip to a golf tournament within the United States within one year of prize selection. The prize trip for winner and one guest includes round-trip, domestic coach-class air transportation for two (2) from a major airport near winner’s home (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to golf tournament of Sponsor’s choice, three (3) night accommodations at a hotel determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion (single room, double occupancy), ground transportation to and from airport and hotel; two (2) golf tournament tickets including hospitality; one (1) $1,000 check payable to winner, which winner may use for meals and other travel expenses; one (1) autographed item for the Winner; and a meet and greet with Red Bull athlete Lexi Thompson.
Approximate retail value: USD $6,150.00.
The Prize is not transferable. No substitution of the Prize for cash or for other goods and services is permitted, except Sponsor reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of approximately equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Prize details, including color, style, and size, are at Sponsor's sole discretion. All taxes, including, without limitation, all federal, state, provincial and local taxes, and international tariffs, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Trip subject to availability and blackout dates. Travel must be round trip. Sponsor will determine airline and flight itinerary in its sole discretion. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. Travel and accommodations are subject to availability. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Sweepstakes, and those set forth by the Sponsor’s airline carrier of choice as detailed in the passenger ticket contract. All expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated in the package description above, including but not limited to, additional ground transportation, meals, incidentals, gratuities, passenger tariffs or duties, airline fees, surcharges, airport fees, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees, taxes or other expenses are the responsibility solely of winner. Winner and guest will be required to provide a valid major credit card or some other acceptable form of payment, as determined in the hotel's sole discretion upon hotel check-in and all in-room charges, telephone calls, meals, beverages, hotel upgrades, amenities, personal incidentals and any other expenses charged to the Winner's hotel room will be charged to that major valid credit card or deducted from the deposit provided. Travel companion must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older as of the date of departure and must travel on same itinerary and at the same time as the winner. Travel companion must execute liability/publicity releases prior to issuance of travel documents. Travel restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. If in the judgment of Sponsor air travel is not required due to winner’s proximity to prize location, ground transportation will be substituted for round trip air travel at Sponsor’s sole discretion and the difference in value will not be awarded to the Winner. Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. Sponsor is not responsible if any event, or any portion of the prize package is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason, in which event that portion of prize is forfeited in its entirety and no substitution will be provided except as in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Winner and guest must have all necessary identification and/or travel documents (e.g., a valid U.S. driver's license) required for travel. Sponsor is not responsible for any fees or additional charges resulting from Winner’s or guest’s change to itinerary or accommodations. Sponsor shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitution or any act or omissions whatsoever by the air carriers, hotels or other transportation companies or any other persons providing any of these services and accommodations to passengers including any results thereof such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same. Sponsor shall not be liable for any loss or damage to baggage. If the Winner becomes disabled or cannot otherwise fully enjoy the trip due to illness, Sponsor shall have the option at its sole discretion of being relieved of liability for fulfillment of the trip portion of the prize and no other compensation in lieu of the trip portion of the prize will be awarded. Winner and guest are responsible for obtaining his/her own medical and life insurance and the associated costs. All travel is subject to any and all restrictions instituted by the Department of Defense and/or Department of Homeland Security, as required.
The judging will be conducted by Sponsor or its designee, the judge of the Contest, whose decisions are final and binding. The potential winner will be notified on or about five (5) days following the applicable Contest Period by an email sent to the email address specified in the Entry and posted on the WGT website.
The prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner in any of the following scenarios: (a) the potential winner cannot be contacted at the email address specified in the Entry; (b) the potential winner is contacted and does not respond as directed within twenty-four (24) hours of attempted notification; (c) the potential winner refuses the Prize; (d) the potential winner is ineligible to accept the Prize, pursuant to these Official Rules; (e) the potential winner cannot travel on the dates associated with the Prize; or (f) the potential winner does not otherwise comply with these Official Rules. The potential winner may be required to complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and, except where and as prohibited, a Liability Release and a Publicity Release in the form provided by Sponsor within twenty-four (24) hours of attempted notification in order to claim the prize. Potential winners may be required to show proof of identification within twenty-four (24) hours of attempted notification, or the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
6. General Terms and Conditions.
By entering the Contest, each entrant accepts and agrees to abide by and be bound by the terms of these Official Rules, and assumes sole liability and accepts all risk of loss for injuries, including personal injuries and/or damage to property, caused or claimed to be caused by participating in this Contest or the acceptance, possession, shipping and handling, loss, use or misuse of, or travel to or from or in connection with the Contest or any prize awarded. Sponsor has the right to cancel, terminate or modify this Contest for any reason, including if it cannot be completed as planned due to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures and also to select a winner from the eligible entries received on or before the termination date. Sponsor is not responsible for any failure to contact entrants, whether due to technical or human error. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to randomly select the Winner from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of such cancellation. In no event will the Sponsor be liable for more than the stated number of prizes available in the prize category in question.
By entering this Contest, entrants grant to Sponsors a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, right and royalty-free license to use the Entry, and, except where prohibited by law, entrant's first and/or last name, city and state/province of residence, photo(s), voice and/or likeness in any and all media; but solely in connection with this Contest. By entering this Contest, entrants agree: (a) that Sponsors have the right to exploit and utilize entrant's first and/or last name, city and state/province of residence, photo(s), voice and/or likeness in any and all media, but solely in connection with this Contest, without any further attribution, notification or compensation to entrant, except where prohibited; (b) to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges; and (c) to be contacted by Sponsors or their agents by telephone, mail or email regarding this Contest. By entering the Contest, entrant agrees to release and holds harmless Sponsors and their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and the directors, officers, employees or agents of each from any and all liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light) arising out of or in connection with the Contest, the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, or arising out of or in connection with any travel to or from any Contest or prize-related activity.
By entering this Contest, entrants agree that any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest, but in no event attorneys' fees; that all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved invidually, without resort to any form of class action; and that entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
In the event that any provision of these Official Rules shall be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law or be so held by applicable court decision, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these Official Rules unenforceable or invalid as a whole, and, in such event, such provision shall be changed and interpreted so as to best accomplish the objectives of such unenforceable or invalid provision within the limits of applicable law or applicable court decisions.

7. Applicable Law.
The Contest is governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict of law provisions, with venue in San Francisco County, California.
8. Winners List.
A list of Contest winners is posted on the WGT website (http://www.wgt.com) and is also available by sending a stamped, and self-addressed envelope marked to “Virtual Red Bull Challenge” 100 California St. STE 650, San Francisco, CA 94111.” Requests must be received within 30 days following the end of the Contest Period for which the Contest winner's list is requested.
