                       WELCOME EVERYONE TO THE OFFICAL WC24 FORUM PAGE

   

  Thank you to all the 64 teams that has signed up to the 10 year anniversary of Finny's world cup to make it the biggest world cup to date.

  We have 64 teams divided between 8 groups of 8 teams in each, with each team playing each other over the group stages for points that will go towards your teams total, The top 4 teams from each group will be going forward to play for the CUP and the bottom 4 teams from each group will be going forward to play for the PLATE. 

  SO EVERY TEAM WILL ADVANCE TO THE KNOCKOUT STAGES IN THE LAST 32 FOR CUP AND PLATE.

  We will be looking to start the World cup from the 26th February 2024

  This years World cup team are as follows -  Carl (Bader76)

                  and his first year we have  - Shane (MrShanestaley)  

  also We still have the spreadsheet genius Nigel

  and still with the team as a  WC Advisor Is Finny.

  Plus a thanks to are cup and plate maker / designer - WigerToods2010

   

  CAPTAINS YOU CAN START SENDING YOUR TEAM'S OVER WHEN YOUR READY AND YOU ALL HAVE TILL END OF JANUARY 2024 TO GET EVERYTHING SENT OVER READY FOR THE LIVE DRAW 

  When picking a captain for your team - All captains must use discord and be in the World cup discord captain's room for the  2024  Finny's world cup

   PLEASE SEND AS - 

  TEAM PLAYERS NAME  - AS IT IS ON WGT - MAKE SURE ITS CORRECT PLEASE  

  (don't need tier/average this year we will find you :) )

   TEAM  NAME - CAN BE ANYTHING YOU LIKE 

  AND A TEAM LOGO IF YOU HAVE ONE OR WE CAN USE YOUR COUNTRY CLUB LOGO INSTEAD IN A SQUARED FORMAT PLEASE 

  you can post your team logos either on this forum or if your in the WC Discord you can post them here - DISCORD TEAM LOGOS HERE

  Hi WC team, happy 10th!

  BillsBand will be donating 2 sleeves again this year, the first sleeve is for Billd1994 and it's for the first HIO on St. Andy's.

  The second is for YankeeJim for hole 15th on Wolf Creek, if there is no wolf creek this year then YankeeJim for the first HIO anywhere...

  Black Diamond GC will have a team, but I have nobody willing to be a captain with the brand new Discord requirement.

  So we will submit a team, but will communicate the old fashioned way that was good for last 10 years ... friending/text messages/if necessary post on walls.

  As long as we don't have any problems with getting in touch with the captain or players that will be fine.
