  Yes, that option is under owners tools.

  Yes, CLICK ON CLUB TOOLS, THAN CLICK ON OWNERS TOOLS ! There are 3 different settings for invitation for New Members, pick the setting that you want !

  Since HooFan97 is not an owner, telling him how to do it won't make sense to him.

  When HooFan asks about making clubs "private", what is he/are we talking about?

  If it means limiting membership in the club to people the owner wants to allow in, the answer is obviously yes.  The answers have addressed that and I won't repeat them.

  But if "private" means keeping the club membership list and other stats unavailable to the general WGT membership (like real world private golf clubs don't release their member list), the answer is a definite NO. 

  The club forum is private within the club, but that is it.

  We can even access club tournament results if we look them up through a player's scores ... then click on the tournament.  The list of club tournaments through the club home page is not available.
