  What a great battle with James, he got up 2 a 2up lead out of the gate and I was pressing the whole way. Was finally able to square it on13 only to go I down on 15. James found some rough trouble on 16 to allow me to square it again. I airmailed my approach on 17 into 40-50 rough (played HW instead of TW) flopped into shorter rough, then somehow pitched in from there to keep the match square. James hit his drive into 40-50 rough on 18, I was able to birdie for the win.

  Very nice to meet you James, you are a great player.

  Very enjoyable game with Rob, front 9 was pretty close but a wrong scale and his putter not turning up didn't help him on the back 9, it was a pleasure Rob and I would like to wish yourself and the rest of East coast the best of luck going forward.

  Hi Mike,

  Here is the report that I posted in my CC forum about our match:

  I just completed my 18 hole match play with Mikee on The Olympic Club.  It was a fun, well played match.  It was a back and forth affair with neither of us ever being more than 1 up or 1 down throughout the match.  Both of us made incredible shots to tie many of the holes.

  In the end, we finished the 18th hole AS.  So each of us received a half point for this match.  We didn't save the scorecard, as Mikee could not stay to finish the extra holes for fun.  

  We both enjoyed playing together, so I now have another new friend as a result of participating in the World Cup 2020 tournament.
