Cheers Johnny, really enjoyed the laughs and great company. Your very slow start was the difference here, but some super putting from the 5th onwards .. and you were very unlucky not to HIO the 8th!

Trans Bandits vs Indian Red

Kelsp(60) beat CaptMick(67)

Was a good game with pleasant company. Tough luck on a fair few holes for CM but he made some wonderful saves too. Good luck to him in the next rounds

Group 5 Round 2

EC 2 v SEL Villains

I played a tremendous opponent this afternoon in ttuna1234.

Tom is a true gentleman of the sport and a tough champion. He jumped out to an early lead with a bird on 1 and eagle on 2. He was gracious on hole 9 to give me 2 back after going up 4 as he bogeyed and I birdied.

To be down 2 after 9 was an accomplishment on it's own.

Tommy was able to get 1 back on 10 to go 3 up. We split 11 and I clawed my way back with birds on 12 and 13.

And finally tied the score on 17 at -9.

We both hit close approach shots on 18 and had decent birdy putts. I watched mine slide past the hole and felt the air leave my body as Tom made his. A great match all the way to the end..

Just had a great match with Dominick. It was a game of two halves as I started hot and took an early lead, but he got it going and then kept chipping away. He hit a beauty on 17 for the bird to bring it even, but caught a piece of bad luck and his putt on 18 just barely missed while I made my birdie. By all rights the match should've been a draw with such a great comeback to get it to even. It's big fun to play such a good guy and fine sportsman as Dominick. The fellowship and laughs are what it's all about. Pleasure to meet you my friend and I look forward to playing again soon.
