why didnt you change it to a par 5? Only the USopen plays it as a par 4. The public and everyone else plays it as a 5

So is the public Bethpage Black a par 71 course instead of par 70?

Yes Faterson it is a Par 71.

This from the web site: "The 18-hole "Black" course at the Bethpage State Park Golf Course facility in Farmingdale, New York features 7,065 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71 . The course rating is 75.4 and it has a slope rating of 144 on Rye grass."

I've seen hundreds of comments from the admins about the aim for realism, and since most golf games are based around pro aspects of the game, I don't see why not.

Wrong, the us open is the only time its used as a par 4. Everyone else plays it as a 5.

i agree.  a free player with starter clubs will never reach the 7th gir, not even with a 20 mph tailwind. im usually left with a 70 or 80 yard approach to try to save par.  while some other bp holes are difficult to reach, at least one can get around the green if not hitting into a stiff headwind.
