I thought I would share my "somewhat" revelation. I had been promoted to master and I was getting frustrated with my lack of birdies thanks to the tougher greens and I was finding myself lucky to get 2 or 3 dings per 9 holes.
Through a somewhat of an accident, I was playing a quick 9 holes and working on something else so I had the screen minimized (instead of fullscreen). I found that I dinged it something like 6 or 7 times for that 9 holes. So, I played a few more rounds with my playing screen minimized. Since then, I have been doing much better when it comes to hitting the magic ding and I can say that I'm getting back to my profitable Ready Go days.
Above all, my helpful tip of the day seems to be that if you have an average performance computer like I do, try playing it with the smaller screen instead of on full screen. It just might save you a couple of strokes. It certainly helped me.
