I've been wondering this for a while. Does the speed of the backswing matter? You can draw it back slow, hold it and let it go or do it real fast, i wonder if that has an impact on the shot.

It doesn't impact the shot. however, it does have a difference when you miss. The longer you hold it, the bigger chance that your miss will go off the mark. It has to do with shrinking precision zone.
