Being a tour legend with an average of almost 54, i've noticed some peculiar anomalies lately whilst putting ever since the new updates came out a week ago or so, and that is that putts are coming up short seemingly every round i play. I came up short on a 9 ft putt (zero incline) on Tournament greens even though i hit it over 7.5 feet. Aswell, i came up short on a 15 ft putt even though i game it extra juice at 12 ft of force (tourny greens again). It's a head-scratcher since putting i find is my best attribute. Is anyone else experiencing or noticing similar results? Oh well, have a good one all  :).

To my knowledge, everyday greens play a little differently regarding the speed...other times faster, other slower and that goes for every course out there.

^^This. Not a huge difference but enough to cause 9 ft putts to come up short. Sometimes it's the other way around, too.  :-)

According to the formula I use that putt should have been hit at 8 - 8.4 depending on which speed of "tournament greens"

On this one I came up with 12.75 - 13.01 power

    Hope that helps..

Dialing in exactly 13.01 power has got to be tough Dan! LMA0!

Nah, he's got his meter divided up into hundredths. That focus boost made him do it.  LOL

It feels to me that both tourney speeds, and champ greens have been running slower for a couple of weeks now. I'm half expecting to find another faster green speed to be released for regular play in the fairly near future

Not that my putting is the greatest, but, for the last week or ten days or so, I've adjusted my formula for tourney greens from , distance to hole plus 1.5 ft., plus or minus elevation expressed as feet, x .65 , to x .675.  Not a big change, but, enough for me to stop coming up short. On putts I've missed, the ball stops 1.5 ft past the hole or less.

    Doc :)

Pretty weird because usually on Tourny greens hitting a 10 ft putt with 7.5 ft of force is the perfect amount, however lately clearly that isn't strong enough, guess i just have to adjust... Hittem well peeps :)

Hey !!! Cut me some slack!!!

1st of all I'm speaking in calculator....

Secondly, so what if I use a 33" monitor, have my meter marked with lines at .1000 increments, and use focus boost on every shot...precision is the key to playing good! I won 18.3 credits last week alone!!!

Let me guess, you 2 use "putter pal" and  avatar movements to set power! MMMMWWWWAAAAHHHHHAAAAHHHAAA, that is soooooo 2009...dorks!
