I am quite consistently seeing this iron fly well below the rated 190 yards. Anywhere from 173 to 185. Wondering if anyone is having this problem?

What is the carry without spin or wind help and with which ball?

FWIW, the level 97 Nike 5i rated at 195 carries 185 with the 33 Callaway. That would be consistent with your numbers, assuming you're just remembering from experience. Missing the ding and elevation affect this number. My numbers came from flat ground, no spin and little wind.

I was using the level 33 Callaway for my testing. I was testing on BP no. 10 with about a 2 mph crosswind. Recording dings or near misses it ranged from a low of 173 to a rare  high of 185 but usually in the mid to higher 170's. I did not move the dot from the middle so I guess normal spin. It would not be quite so bad even if the yardage was lower but the distance is so inconsistent you never know what you are going to get. I know there are variances and I see them in my other irons but nothing as drastic as with the 5 iron for some reason. It has really ruined some nice rounds lately.............

You have the right idea but you can't count the near misses. That exaggerates the normal deviation, however slight, and when incorporated in your session you get the range you're getting. Just count the dings for a number you can trust.

I was playing the BO par 3s and I used it to hit the power at approx. 185 w/ a Callaway 33. It landed at 147. ok I must have bumped the club select, I restarted that 1st hole, triple checked everything, I hit it and it went just over 150.

In another game I hit the 9i with 1/2 BS at approx. 125y power and it went 79.

I'm taking someone's advice in the forum who said when stuff like this happens don't play WGT for a while, I can't/won't explain it/why but it's the advice I will use.

This sounds like the 6i (180yrd), which travels about 186 with no spin, Have you got the right club Jim.

The 5i (195yrd) should travel further than 185 with no spin.

Carry, Roger, not total yards. Carry is the yardage at the  thump you hear when it hits the ground. The OP also has the lower level Nikes which are 5 yards shorter so think accordingly.
