    Uh....no.

Trade in value has always been 25% of purchase price.

Don't you still have the ability to rent the clubs before you buy them?

You cannot rent or buy clubs you are not eligible for.

How can you blame WGT because you did not inform yourself?

Just like in real life. 3 years ago  I bought a Taylor Made r7 draw driver. $300 I kept it for less than a year and traded it in on a Cobra M speed driver and got only $50 in the trade. That is actually less than 25% so WGT is just mimmicking what the real golf store do.

The original poster was obviously misinformed but I would say that I think the trade in is a little low.  I would suggest that much like real life the trade in would depend upon the age of the club.  If it is 2 or 3 updates old then 20%, if it is pretty new up to 50%.
